Attorney Lorena Galvez is a skilled litigator with over ten years of experience in family law. Lorena routinely handles complex divorce, custody, removal, paternity, contempt and modification actions. Lorena is a compassionate and zealous advocate that understands the emotional toll that accompanies the legal issues. She strives to reach an efficient resolution while minimizing the emotional hardship of the process whenever possible. Lorena is experienced in handling highly contentious family matters involving children and strives to maintain a child-centered approach throughout.
Lorena has also served as “Lawyer for the day” and been appointed as Guardian ad Litem by numerous judges throughout the Massachusetts Probate and Family Courts.
Prior to joining the firm, Lorena was employed at a boutique suburban law firm where she not only practiced family law but also gained extensive civil litigation and trial experience, representing many members of the Massachusetts law enforcement community before the Massachusetts State, Federal and Appellate Courts as well as the Civil Service Commission.
Prior to coming to Massachusetts in 2017, Lorena practiced in Chicago, Illinois where she focused her practice in the areas of divorce and family law, immigration, criminal, and estate planning.
Outside the courtroom, Lorena enjoys serving as Legal Counsel on the Infant Toddler Children’s Center Board of Trustees, her children’s non-profit preschool.
